I’m in the midst of writing my first assignment for my masters – 6000 words on a case study based around the loss of faith – which I am finding amazingly hard yet enjoyable. Working out how to write this is a nightmare but the subject matter is so interesting and I didnt realise just how much of it there was. I guess on this, like a lot of other things this year, I’m finding out just how shallow and naive some of my views and knowledge is/was and I’m really being stretched and pulled and shaped by God.
In the midst of the muddle that my mind is on this topic at the moment, I remembered Jude 24-25:
To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy— 25to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.
What a promise! Loss of faith is full of doctrinally mines it seems but this promise over shines it. He is able to keep us. Prase the LORD!
